We realized, the iron has an ironing board, but the steamer had nothing! So we invented & patented the portable The Steamer Stand® with must-have features designed with the user in mind! 

THE IDEA

The idea for The Steamer Stand® began with a simple problem—making clothes look fresh without the hassle and cost of dry cleaning.

After trying a handheld garment steamer, the results were impressive, but the experience was frustrating. Finding a stable place to hang the garment was impossible. There had to be a better way!

We tried the all-in-one bulky steamer with hanger rod, but it was bulky, not travel-friendly and inability to select your own prefered steamer or replace the attached one if it breaks. There had to be a better way!

Our search for a portable stable stand turned up nothing. Retail stores confirmed that no product on the market offered both stability and portability saying, “Someone should invent that.”

That is exactly what we thought too—an iron requires a separate ironing board, so of course a steamer needs a separate, portable stand!

THE PROTOYPE

Determined, we set off to make a prototype! Ta-da!

We tried it out and the proof of concept worked! The base could even breakdown, and the entire prototype fit within a checked bag for traveling.

From there, we analyzed over 6,000 product reviews on garment steamers and janky stands, which validated that we were not the only consumers facing the same steaming struggles. 

So, we initiated the lengthy process patenting our invention, branding, engineering and developing multiple prototypes to improve the design.

Finally, years later, The Steamer Stand® was born—a portable, lightweight, tripod stand weighing under < 2.5 lbs., offering features never seen before in the steaming market— proudly with granted utility patents and registered trademarks.
